My New Year's Resolutions

According to some people, we’re right around the time people start to quit their New Year’s Resolutions. The drudgery of life begins to sink in, and we start to remember why those resolutions are so hard to keep. We have other obligations, and so many things we HAVE to be doing, improving ourselves isn’t necessarily one of them. Well, here’s a perfect solution to the so-called Quitter’s Day: just start late*. That’s what I did, and so far, so good!

Like every year, I wrote my resolutions on in the week leading up to 2020. I edited, added, and eventually came up with a list I’m happy with. While I love goals and goal setting, I did disobey one of the big pieces of advice often given about sticking to goals: focus on one or two at a time. It’s just not in my nature. Still, to combat that I’ve broken down most of my goals into smaller parts. That’s also a great suggestion. Without further ado, my 2020 Resolutions.

*I’m writing and posting this on January 20th, the day I watched the first movie of my 52 Weeks Challenge. Yesterday, I filmed my first video (but I haven’t edited it). I still haven’t gone to the gym. Baby steps.
